Role: Disability Assessor (NMC Registered Nurses – Band 5 & Above)
Location: Oxford (Hybrid – mix of homeworking and local office assessments)
Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 + 5% Training Completion Bonus + Quality & Performance Bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (No weekends, no nights, no bank holidays)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting telephone and face-to-face assessments
- Reviewing medical evidence and clinical documentation
- Producing detailed, objective reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Assessing how health conditions impact an individual’s daily living and mobility
Please note: this is a non-advisory role with no treatment, prescribing, or hands-on care involved.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from Registered:
- Adult Nurses (RGN)
- Mental Health Nurses (RMN)
- Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD)
- Applicants must have:
- Active NMC registration
- Minimum 1 year post-registration experience
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- A passion for delivering high-quality assessments
