Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient and effective warehouse processes while ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of products. The Warehouse Manager will manage inventory, coordinate shipping and receiving, supervise staff, and maintain a safe working environment.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Warehouse Capacity Planning
- Management of warehouse processes and 123 system accuracy
- Management of all warehouse Personnel
- Maximizing stock holding efficiencies and ensuring timely uploading onto 123 MRP system
- Managing pick accuracy and ensuring QA checking process is followed.
- Continuous coordination and liaison with Transport team to ensure equipment is prepared and ready in good order and at agreed times.
- Assisting the Equipment Portal Team with site queries
- Stock Management and reporting
- Waste Management and segregation
- Warehouse and facilities Management
- Day to day Health and Safety across warehouse sites including plant eg PAT testing.
- Other duties which may be assigned to ensure smooth and safe business operation and as requested and required by the Operations Manager
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Enforce health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to facilitate smooth operations.
- Prepare reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, performance metrics, and any issues encountered.
- Any other reasonable duties as required.
- Tasks may vary by site.
- Shift pattern: 7am-5pm, 5 days out of 7
- Car allowance
Skills:
- 4*GCSE between A-C (Must include Maths and English) (New grading 4+)
- Proven experience (2 years) as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and MS Office applications.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
