We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dispencer to join our experienced healthcare team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the safe and efficient dispensing of medication to patients while maintaining high standards of patient care.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have previous pharmacy or dispensary experience and hold a Dispensing NVQ Level 2 qualification. You should be able to work accurately in a busy environment, manage competing priorities, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
A key responsibility of the role is to accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions and medication to patients in accordance with practice procedures and regulations.
Knowledge of the dispensing process, medicine handling, and stock control is desirable; however, full training will be provided where required.
Applicants who do not currently hold a Dispensing NVQ Level 2 qualification will be expected to undertake and complete the qualification following a successful induction period.
