Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and measuring out food.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Cleaning Duties: Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
- Assistance to Chefs: Support chefs during meal service by preparing plates, cooking dishes, garnishing dishes, and ensuring timely delivery of meals. Must be comfortable overseeing the kitchen in the head chefs absence.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to maintain the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food-related role is required and food hygiene certificate an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends

Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week

- Chef: 2 years (preferred)
- Catering: 2 years (preferred)
- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)
