Dulwich Oaks Montessori Nursery School is a well-established, family-run nursery providing high-quality childcare and education for children aged 12 months to 5 years. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, nurturing environment where children, families and staff thrive.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Nursery Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team.
Hours
- Monday to Thursday
- 9:00am – 6:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- All-year-round position (51 weeks per year)
Salary
- Level 3 Early Years Educator: £13.50 per hour
- Level 2 Qualified Practitioner (willing to complete Level 3): £12.70 per hour
The Role
You will work alongside an experienced team caring for and educating children aged 12 months to 5 years.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Observing, assessing and recording children's progress
- Maintaining a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting daily routines including meal times, personal care and outdoor play
- Working across different age groups when required
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (preferred)
- Level 2 qualification considered if willing to undertake Level 3 training
- Previous experience working in an early years setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach
- Passion for supporting children's development
- Right to work in the UK
- willingness to complete Montessori 0-3 top up training course (approximately 12 months, part time)
