Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications following pharmacy protocols and prescriptions
- Verify patient information and medication details to ensure safety and correctness
- Assist with medication administration procedures under pharmacist supervision when required
- Provide compassionate patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance on proper usage
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Maintain detailed records of dispensed medications, patient interactions, and inventory logs
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks such as processing prescriptions and updating patient records
Requirements
- Prior experience as a pharmacy dispenser or in a similar healthcare support role is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration processes and pharmacy software systems
- Strong commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions accurately
- Effective communication skills to interact confidently with patients and healthcare professionals
