Eliali MPC Ltd is a growing provider of Children's Residential Care and Supported Accommodation dedicated to helping children and young people achieve positive outcomes through high-quality, relationship-based care.
We are currently recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers to join our expanding services across Watford.
Our Children's Residential service includes:
- One Ofsted-rated Good Children's Home.
- A second Children's Home opening shortly as part of our continued growth.
Our Supported Accommodation service has recently been judged Strong by Ofsted, the highest possible outcome, reflecting the quality of support and positive experiences we provide for young people.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for experienced professionals who are passionate about developing others, leading by example and delivering outstanding care.
One Recruitment Process - The Right Service for You
We recruit Senior Support Workers across both our Children's Homes and Supported Accommodation services.
Successful applicants will complete one recruitment process. Following interview, we will carefully assess your knowledge, experience and strengths before placing you within the service that best suits your skill set, ensuring both you and the young people you support benefit from the best possible match.
About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and aspirational environment for children and young people.
Working alongside the management team, you will lead shifts, support and mentor colleagues, promote excellent practice and ensure young people receive consistent, high-quality care that enables them to thrive.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress into Deputy Manager and Registered Manager positions in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and provide day-to-day operational leadership.
- Act as a positive role model for the staff team.
- Support, mentor and coach Support Workers to maintain high standards of practice.
- Build positive and professional relationships with children and young people.
- Deliver high-quality key-work sessions and promote positive outcomes.
- Support the implementation and review of care plans, placement plans and risk assessments.
- Complete and oversee accurate recordings and statutory documentation.
- Promote safeguarding and ensure risks are appropriately managed.
- Liaise professionally with social workers, education providers, families and other professionals.
- Assist managers with monitoring standards, identifying improvements and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Support new staff through induction and ongoing development.
- Contribute to creating a positive, reflective and supportive team culture.
What We're Looking For

Essential
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, Children & Young People or equivalent (minimum requirement).
- Experience working within Children's Residential Care and/or Supported Accommodation.
- Experience supporting or leading colleagues within a care setting.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work a mixture of day shifts, waking night shifts and sleep-in duties where required.
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- Level 4 qualification or working towards one.
- Experience leading shifts.
- Experience completing care planning and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
