We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for optics to help support our team in our busy optical shop. A successful candidate will have previous experience in retail in general, but not necessarily have an optics background.
Responsibilities:
- Perform retinal imaging.
- Prepare patients for examination.
- Resolve equipment malfunctions or repair equipment in a timely manner.
- Use appropriate safety procedures while dealing with lasers or other specialized equipment.
- Carry out all required preventive maintenance services.
- Deal with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Dispensing patients with correct frames and lenses according to prescription.
