Overview
We are seeking a qualified level 3 passionate and dedicated Nursery and Out of School Club Third in Charge to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to support the management and delivery of high-quality childcare services for children of various ages. As a key team member, you will assist in leading daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Your leadership skills and experience working with children will be instrumental in maintaining excellent standards of care and education.
Duties
- Support the management team in overseeing daily nursery and out-of-school club activities, ensuring smooth operation and compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Lead by example in delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and well-being for children
- Assist in supervising staff members, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a motivated and professional team
- Ensure the safety and security of all children, staff, and visitors by adhering to health and safety policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, daily routines, and any concerns that may arise
- Contribute to maintaining accurate records related to children's development, attendance, and incident reports
- Support the implementation of early childhood education best practices aligned with curriculum standards
Qualifications- Level 3 Full and Relevant Childcare Qualification Required
- Proven experience working with children within nursery or early childhood settings
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety standards
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Childcare qualifications such as Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent are required
- Experience working specifically within nursery environments or out-of-school club is highly desirable

Pay: £13.40-£14.50 per hour
