We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Southern Water team based in Falmer, Chatham.
Location: Falmer, Chatham
Hours: 40 hours per week, with a typical day looking at 08:00 to 17:00

Kier has been appointed by Southern Water Services to their £3.1bn Strategic Development Partnership Framework for Asset Management Period 8 (AMP8). This is an exciting opportunity to manage resources and deliver projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be working across water and wastewater projects, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels while maximising customer satisfaction. Projects include capacity increases at treatment sites and works to improve water safety, quality, recycling, and resilience. What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the Southern Water team, supporting them in delivering strategic water and wastewater projects. Your day to day will include:
- Managing and developing your team to achieve the best possible results for projects and employees
- Overseeing construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Working collaboratively with clients, designers, stakeholders and suppliers to meet all project objectives
- Monitoring and reporting on project performance against financial and programme targets
- Managing project documentation and communicating progress with clients and stakeholders
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
- You have experience working on a variety of projects in the Water, civils, or regulated sector
- You hold a degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- You can communicate effectively with team members, clients, and leadership at all levels
- You understand health and safety regulations and can demonstrate strong organisational skills
- You hold a Full UK driving licence
