We are a historic pub nestled in the heart of Penrith, having reopened this wonderful public house this year, thanks to the warm reception from the locals, we are in need to expand our staff already!
Job Description:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals who are hard working to join our team working front of house in the bars.
As a member of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining the inviting and friendly atmosphere that our staff have been fostering since opening.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner
· Taking orders and liaising clearly with kitchen staff and management where needed
· Ensuring that the tables and floor area is clean, organised at all times
· Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records of sales
· Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
· Must be 16 years or older
· Excellent communication and people skills,
· A positive attitude and willingness to learn
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
