Job Summary
As our capacity continues to grow, we are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in early childhood education, specifically working with children aged 0-2 years, and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in their formative years.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Specifically 0-2 year olds.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's learning and development.
- Manage daily activities, including planning lessons, supervising playtime, and ensuring the wellbeing of all children in your care.
- Lead by example, demonstrating positive behaviour and encouraging good manners among children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, providing regular feedback to parents.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
- Stay updated with best practices in early years education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive environment for all children.
