SEN Teaching Assistant – Dudley, West Midlands

The Supply Room is working with an amazing specialist school in Dudley, West Midlands to recruit committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants. The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH and moderate learning difficulties. Many learners require consistent structure, emotional regulation support and tailored approaches to access learning effectively.
You will work closely with class teachers and specialist staff to support pupils throughout the school day, helping to create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment. The focus is on behaviour support, communication, independence and individual progress.
Requirements:
● Experience in childcare, care, youth work, education or similar settings
● Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
● Experience or strong interest in SEN support
● Patient, resilient and consistent approach
● Strong communication and teamwork skills
● Full-time availability
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £92 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Positions are long-term or term-by-term, with potential for permanent opportunities for the right candidates.
