We're on the lookout for enthusiastic, adaptable people to join our Bank Retail Team at Wakefield Hospice. This is an adhoc bank role hours are not guaranteed.
One day you could be styling a stunning shop window, the next uncovering a hidden gem among donations, helping customers find the perfect purchase, or supporting a fantastic team of volunteers. Every shift is different, but every shift helps support local hospice care.
What's a Bank Retail Assistant?
Think of yourself as our retail superhero on standby. You'll step into different hospice shops when extra support is needed, helping keep our stores running smoothly, looking great, and delivering excellent customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
Creating eye-catching displays and keeping shops looking their best
Providing friendly customer service and helping resolve queries
Handling cash, donations and handle transactions confidently
Opening and closing shops safely and securely
Supporting and encouraging our amazing volunteers
Helping with pricing, stock rotation and merchandising
Working across our network of shops and occasionally our warehouse
Bringing energy, flexibility and a positive attitude wherever you're needed

The Small Print
You'll work across our retail locations as and when required, providing cover for holidays, sickness and busy periods. Full training and support will be provided.
