Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks in designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, following all safety protocols.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all spaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by storing supplies properly and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers safely.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly.
- Knowledge of proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
