At Bright Futures, we champion the potential of every person with autism and a learning disability, believing wholeheartedly in their ability to thrive and lead the most fulfilling lives. We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Tyldesley.
Wareing, is one of our new purpose-built, homely, spacious and specialist homes in Tyldesley, Manchester, supporting 4 adults with autism and learning disabilities to be independent and achieve their own individual outcomes.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be leading the team whilst you are on shift, acting as a role model to deliver the highest standards of care. You will develop strong relationships with the team and the people we support to ensure the best possible outcomes.
You will get to know each individual, find out their interests, and support them to achieve the small and big steps in reaching their goals and living the life they choose. Each day will be completely different, but you will be there to guide them through all of life's milestones and challenges.
What we’re looking for

Level 2 Adult Care Worker Qualification or equivalent is desirable

Previous experience in a care role supporting Children/Adults with Learning difficulties/Autism and looking to advance in your chosen career

Be committed to continuous improvement of the home and the team

A passion for person-centred care

Have a positive and proactive mindset

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Full UK Driving Licence is preferred.
