About the Role
Leeds Access Company is looking for an Experienced Scaffolding Estimator to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an estimator with strong scaffolding industry knowledge who can confidently assess projects, prepare accurate quotations and work closely with clients, suppliers and our operational team.
We’re looking for someone who understands the scaffolding industry, has excellent attention to detail and can take ownership of the estimating process from initial enquiry through to quotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate and competitive scaffolding quotations and estimates
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Carrying out site visits and assessing scaffolding requirements where required
- Calculating quantities, labour, materials, access requirements and associated costs
- Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Responding to tender enquiries and preparing professional tender submissions
- Following up quotations and developing strong client relationships
- Working closely with the operations team to ensure projects are priced effectively
- Identifying potential risks, additional requirements and cost implications
- Maintaining accurate estimating records and project information
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience as a scaffolding estimator
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials and industry practices
- The ability to accurately interpret drawings and project specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The confidence to liaise with clients and contractors
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple enquiries and deadlines
- A professional, commercial and proactive approach
Relevant scaffolding qualifications and industry experience are highly desirable.
