About Raoul’s
Raoul’s is an established cocktail bar in Oxford, known for quality drinks, great service and a lively, welcoming atmosphere.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bartender to join our team. We want someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in looking after customers and is comfortable working in a busy bar environment.
The Role
As a Bartender at Raoul’s, you’ll be responsible for:
- Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks
- Providing friendly, knowledgeable and efficient customer service
- Following cocktail specifications and maintaining consistent drink quality
- Setting up and closing down the bar
- Keeping the bar clean, organised and well stocked
- Handling payments and using the till/POS system
- Checking stock and replenishing the bar during service
- Following licensing, Challenge 25 and responsible service procedures
- Working closely with the rest of the team during busy services
- Helping create the atmosphere and level of hospitality Raoul’s is known for
Who We’re Looking For
Ideally, you will:
- Have previous bar or hospitality experience
- Have an interest in cocktails, spirits and drinks
- Be confident speaking with customers
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Stay calm and organised during busy periods
- Have good attention to detail
- Be available to work evenings and weekends
Cocktail experience is preferred, but we’re also happy to consider the right person with strong hospitality experience and a willingness to learn.
