Carers Hub Information and Advice Officer - 22.5 hours (3 days) per week
Join the Carers Hub team at Age Connects West Midlands and make a real difference to the lives of unpaid carers. We welcome applicants with professional, voluntary, or personal caring experience — compassion, empathy and a positive attitude matter most, as full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice, information and emotional support to unpaid carers
- Carry out carer assessments and identify unmet support needs
- Signpost carers to services, benefits, wellbeing support and community resources
- Support carers through groups, outreach events and ongoing contact
- Work closely with healthcare professionals, community organisations and partner services
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Caring, empathetic and patient approach
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to support people from diverse backgrounds
- Good IT and organisational skills
- Understanding of carers’ needs
Additional Information
- Based: Boldmere
- Monday–Friday with occasional evening/weekend work
- Enhanced DBS check required
