The Role
As a Self-Employed / Bank Care Worker, you will support individuals to live independently, safely, and with dignity within their own homes or supported living environments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting with medication (where required and trained)
- Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
- Supporting with mobility and moving & handling
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns
- Working in line with care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in health & social care (preferred)
- A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
- Valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
Important Information (Self-Employed / Bank)
- This role is offered on a self-employed or zero-hours bank basis
- You will have flexibility over your availability
- You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance contributions (self-employed roles)
- Work is offered based on service needs and availability
