A Fantastic Opportunity: Data Maintainer
This is a 12 month FTC
It will be the primary responsibility of the Map3D Data Maintainer to create, modify and decommission features held in the Map3D Database in-line with the state of the respective assets on the network and to position these assets accurately against ordnance survey map data
The role holder will work closely with the NMS Maintainers to ensure the assets contained in data submissions are correctly represented in the Map3D Database.

To update Electricity North West Geographic Information System

To ensure that only data of the required standard is captured on Map3D and in accordance with the Map3d Technical Guide

To process and capture Low Carbon Technology asset data from relevant databases and transfer to GIS

To assist in the processing, testing and cleanse of SMART meter data

To ensure data is reflected correctly in other appropriate computer systems and databases e.g. CHiME, NMS, ADQM, SPUDS, SSG Prod and UAT

To act as a further filter for quality assurance and bring any issues to the attention of the Data Management Team Manager.

To assist in the training of new team members.

To participate and assist in additional tasks on an ad-hoc basis which will support the aims and objectives of the section.

To update and maintain LV Operational Diagrams.

To support ENW incident management, all employees are required to hold a secondary supporting role. This may include inbound/outbound call handling.
What you'll need:

Knowledge of GIS systems would be an advantage but not essential.

Ability to use AutoCAD would be an advantage but not essential.

To be focused and able to deliver consistent, accurate results through their own initiative against time critical deadlines.

The post holder will have to be a good communicator and be able to interpret demands from the department/business.

There is a need for high accuracy when completing and quality checking work.
The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
