Responsibilities
- Lead the breakfast kitchen team, supervising food preparation and cooking activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Prepare a variety of breakfast dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness, proper storage, and compliance with health regulations at all times.
- Manage kitchen operations during service hours, coordinating with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service.
- Train and mentor team members in food production techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain smooth kitchen workflow.
- Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, or culinary roles within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Supervising experience or team management skills demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation of breakfast dishes.
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on breakfast or brunch menus is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
