We're looking for passionate, hardworking chefs for our new opening on the side of the Malvern Hills. With incredible views across to Wales, this is set to become a real destination, forming part of our wider FAUN offering across the Malvern area.
The Role
As a chef you'll be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the kitchen while maintaining Faun’s standards of food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and organisation.
You will work closely with the Executive Chef, Head Chef and wider kitchen team to prepare and deliver fresh, seasonal food across breakfast, brunch, lunch, bakery, and evening service as required.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a professional kitchen environment, takes pride in their work, and wants to develop within a growing independent hospitality business.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Service
- Prepare and cook dishes to Faun standards
- Maintain consistency in presentation, portioning, and quality
- Support smooth and organised kitchen service during busy periods
- Ensure food is prepared and served efficiently and safely
Kitchen Standards
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
- Ensure correct storage, labelling, and stock rotation practices
- Help maintain equipment and report any issues promptly
Teamwork & Communication
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Support a positive and respectful kitchen culture
- Communicate clearly during service and preparation
- Be reliable, organised, and adaptable
Stock & Waste Control
- Support stock management and deliveries
- Minimise waste through careful preparation and portion control
- Handle ingredients and equipment responsibly
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous kitchen experience within hospitality
- Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Good organisation and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience within brunch, bakery, café, or restaurant kitchens
- Interest in seasonal and locally sourced cooking
- Experience with high-volume daytime service
- Desire to develop and progress within hospitality

This will be a largely daytime focused role, with two-three evenings a week.
Pay: From £31,000.00 per year
