Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our team at McKays Hotel Bar & Restaurant in Pitlochry. This role is vital in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional hospitality and local Scottish flavors. We are currently only considering applications for a live out position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist with food preparation to ensure high-quality dishes.
- Support cooking and meal assembly processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Provide excellent service to restaurant guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver a seamless dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
