We are looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Compliance Administrator to join our team in Sunderland. This is an important role supporting the organisation to maintain high standards of compliance, quality and governance across our homecare services.
The Role
As Compliance Administrator, you will provide effective administrative support to ensure our compliance systems, records and processes are maintained accurately and consistently.
You will work closely with management and care teams to monitor compliance requirements, maintain documentation, support audits and ensure actions are followed through.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate compliance and quality records and documentation.
- Monitoring staff compliance with required training, checks, certifications and other mandatory requirements.
- Supporting the onboarding and compliance checks of new employees.
- Maintaining personnel and service records in line with company procedures.
- Assisting with internal audits, quality checks and compliance reviews.
- Monitoring action plans and following up outstanding compliance actions.
- Supporting the preparation of reports and compliance information for management.
- Keeping policies, procedures and compliance documentation up to date.
- Supporting regulatory and inspection readiness.
- Ensuring records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Liaising with staff and managers to resolve compliance queries and obtain outstanding information.
- Providing general administrative support to the management team as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working with confidential and sensitive information.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
- A clear and professional communicator.
- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently.
- Confident in identifying gaps, following up outstanding actions and escalating concerns when appropriate.
- Ideally experienced in compliance, administration, health and social care, or a regulated environment.
Experience working within domiciliary care, health and social care, or another regulated sector would be advantageous, although training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
