Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Water Hygiene Engineer Supervisor and Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safety of water systems across various sites. Duties
- Conducting routine inspections and Sampling of water systems, including tanks and pipework.
- Performing cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance tasks on water systems to prevent bacterial growth such as legionella.
- Servicing Thermostatic Mixer Valves.
- Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken, including test results and maintenance schedules.
- Assisting with the installation of new equipment and infrastructure related to water hygiene.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies at all times.
- Carrying out legionella risk assessments inline with HSG274 and HTM0401
- Supervised a team of engineers, providing guidance on compliance-related questions and ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational requirements
Skills
- Minimum Experience of 5 Years desired of working in the legionella prevention industry.
- A Full valid UK driving license is preferred, as travel between sites is required.
- Experience Servicing Thermostatic Mixer Valves
Additional Would be Ideal
- 4 Years Experience Legionella Risk Assessing (Qualified)
