Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Care Workers to work as a two carer team, providing person centred care and support to individuals in their own homes in the Lincoln area..
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including washing, showering and dressing
-The administration of prescribed medication
- Assistance with mobility and transfers
- Monitor and record using electronic software
- Support individuals with daily activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
- Provide emotional and physical support and companionship
- Identify and highlight risk, promoting positive risk taking.
-Work to current legislation, company policy and procedure.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a care setting is preferred
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to promote and provide person centred care.
- Excellent time keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- To recognise your own values as well as those of others.
