We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our valued guests. You will work collaboratively with the kitchen and service staff to uphold our standard of excellence in food presentation and guest satisfaction.
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, your primary focus will be on supporting the service team during meal times, ensuring that every guest receives timely and accurate service. You will have the opportunity to engage with guests, taking their orders and assisting them in making informed menu choices. With a flexible schedule needed to accommodate the demands of the business, you will work in a fast-paced environment that thrives on customer service and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas before and after meal service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately from guests and process them efficiently.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are served in an appealing and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any guest inquiries or issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor guests' dining experience and offer additional items as necessary to enhance their meal.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food and beverage service role is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- You will need to be over 18 and expected to pass a drug test.
