Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist with medication administration and provide guidance to patients on proper usage
- Maintain precise records of medication inventory and ensure stock levels are adequate
- Support patient care activities by answering queries and providing information about medications
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and health regulations within the pharmacy setting
- Organise and manage prescription orders efficiently to facilitate timely patient service
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe pharmacy environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or similar role within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care protocols
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a busy environment
- Registration or certification as a Pharmacy Technician (where applicable) is preferred but not mandatory
- A compassionate attitude towards patients and a commitment to delivering quality care
Pay: £24,420.00-£42,766.21 per year
