Job Summary
We are seeking friendly and professional Hotel Breakfast Waiting Staff member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth operation of the breakfast service. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements in the breakfast area
- Serve breakfast items efficiently and courteously, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Replenish food and beverage stations as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organisation
- Take orders for additional food or drinks and upsell where appropriate to enhance guest experience
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food handling and service
- Clear tables promptly and assist with resetting the area for subsequent guests
- Assist in food preparation tasks if required, following health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment throughout service hours
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing guest queries and requests promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing purposes
- Experience with upselling to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
- Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours, including weekends if required
