We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and creative individuals with a can-do approach to join our team of support workers in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire LE12.

You will work as part of a team within our Residential Care Home that supports individuals who have learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex care including behaviours that may challenge. Our support workers engage with individuals and explore ways of working to develop new and existing skills. You will support and promote person centred choices in a range of daily living and social activities.
You will demonstrate the values that are paramount for a role of this nature such as warmth, compassion and empowerment. The right individual will have access to training and on-going support from an experienced and supportive management team. We encourage our staff teams to develop themselves and make a real difference to the lives of the individuals we support.
We actively supports our staff teams who work within adult social care on a career pathway, self development and career progression. You will need to work flexibly on a rota basis to include variable shifts within our Residential Home.
Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities and or mental health / complex care needs is desirable but not essential. The right attitude is essential. You will receive a full company and mandatory induction Care Certificate, PBS Training, followed by client specific training. We provide on-going relevant training including accredited health and social care diplomas.

Requirements
Hours: 37.5 per week
Experience is desirable
Enjoy walks and activities to include day trips, pub, bowling, shopping, disc
Support with Housekeeping
Clear and concise verbal and written English communication, being able to hold meaningful conversations with people supported
Good listening and observation skills
Positive and pro-active thinking
