Join our friendly cookery club team and help children discover the joy of cooking. This part‑time, term‑time only role is ideal for part‑time teachers, teaching assistants, childcare professionals, or confident cooks who are brilliant with kids and love being in charge of a busy, lively room.

About the role
We’re a small, independent children’s cookery club based in Stockport, running hands‑on sessions for EYFS–KS2. In a fun, positive environment, children build life skills, teamwork and confidence while cooking from scratch. We prepare both sweet and savoury recipes and inspire young chefs to connect with fresh, wholesome ingredients and understand their impact on well‑being.

What you’ll do
- Lead or support engaging cooking sessions, confidently managing groups of children in a safe, positive, productive environment.
- Use strong classroom or group management to keep sessions calm, well‑organised and fun.
- Bring energy, reliability and a positive work ethic to every class, modelling our ethos and helping every child get the most out of themselves.
- Assist with equipment set‑up and pack‑down (Leaders collect and return kit in Great Moor, Stockport).
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in classroom or group management with young children.
- Hard‑working, organised and energetic, with a positive attitude and excellent timekeeping.
- Confident cook with basic culinary skills and enthusiasm to share this with children.
- Full driving licence and use of own car (essential for Leader role).
- Local to Hazel Grove, Great Moor, Stockport, or the mentioned school areas.
- Enhanced DBS, First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Safety certifications preferred (can be arranged).
