Summary
As a Production Assembly Operative, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, focusing on assembling components with precision and efficiency. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your core skills in assembly will be complemented by premium skills in mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools. Additionally, experience in a warehouse setting and familiarity with soldering techniques will enhance your contributions. Your role is vital in ensuring high-quality production standards and meeting organizational goals in a fast-paced environment. Main duties/responsibilities
- To work with production teams
- Pre assembly work
- To be able to understand the components and how they fit together.
- To assemble wiring looms.
- To Test and box units – including collection of cartons and packaging.
- Shrink Wrapping
- Assembly and repackaging
- To be knowledgeable in the general / soldering assembly drawings.
- To have basic knowledge of tools.
- To keep own area clean and tidy.
- To check the quality of units at each stage of production.
- To assist in stocktaking.
- To collect rubbish and empty bins when necessary.
Job Type: Fixed Term Contract - 3 months
Shift 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday
Pay: £12.92 per hour
