Senior Residential Support Worker – Oxford, Oxfordshire
Hourly Rate: £15.50 – £17.00 per hour (+ £55 per sleep-in)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a brand-new children’s home opening in Oxford!
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our existing team to help shape and develop this new service from the very beginning.

The Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll take a lead role in:
Supporting children and young people with daily routines, emotional regulation, and personal development
Acting as a role model for new and existing staff, promoting high standards of care
Leading shifts and ensuring effective communication across the team
Completing on-call duties on a rota basis to support the home outside of normal working hours (each on-call is paid in addition to your hourly rate)
Supporting the Registered and Deputy Manager in ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
Helping children build resilience, trust, and independence through consistent, therapeutic relationships
What We’re Looking For
Experience working in a children’s residential home
Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, or similar role
Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
Full UK driving licence
Passion, commitment, and a genuine desire to make a difference
