Qualification: Childcare Level 2 or 3 (essential)

The role
We are looking for a qualified, experienced and caring Nursery Practitioner to join our team for around 30 hours a week across 3.5 days. You will be a valued member of our daily team — building warm relationships with the children, supporting their learning and development, and helping to create the happy, safe and stimulating environment Little Acorns is known for.
What you will be doing
- Providing high-quality care and support for children aged 0–5
- Supporting play-based learning and daily routines (meals, nappy changing and sleep times)
- Observing and tracking children’s development and helping to plan their next steps
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Helping to keep the environment safe, clean and welcoming
- Upholding our safeguarding, health and safety, and Curriculum for Wales practices
What we are looking for
- A recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or 3 — essential
- Experience working with children aged 0–5 — essential
- A warm, caring and patient nature
- Reliability, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for early years
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and children’s wellbeing
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
