Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Barista/Supervisor to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items in accordance with company standards
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences
- Oversee food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining compliance with health regulations
- Manage stock levels, organise inventory, and place orders as needed
- Train new staff members on food preparation, serving protocols, and safety procedures
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to cleanliness standards at all times
- Assist in developing new menu items or promotional initiatives to enhance customer engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, ideally within a hospitality environment
- Supervising experience with strong team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
- Previous experience as a barista or in a café setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example and foster teamwork
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail in both service delivery and operational tasks
- Hospitality or culinary qualifications are advantageous but not essential; relevant experience is valued equally
- A friendly demeanour with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
