Experienced Mechanical Fitters
Location: South Wales & Bristol (based near Newport)

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team on a flexible, as-required basis. We carry out planned and reactive maintenance, shutdowns, mechanical installations, and project work for a wide range of industrial clients across South Wales and Bristol.
Our work includes paper mills, steel plants, breweries, and other heavy industrial and manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Mechanical installation and project work
- Assisting with industrial pipework installation and maintenance where required
- Working safely on a variety of industrial sites
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within an industrial environment
- Some experience of industrial pipe fitting and pipework installation would be advantageous
- Experience working in heavy industry, manufacturing, paper mills, steel plants, breweries, or similar environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Full UK driving licence preferred

Hours
This is not a full-time position. Work is offered on an as-and-when-required basis, with hours varying to meet customer demand.
This role is ideal for experienced Mechanical Fitters looking for flexible work, including those seeking additional income, self-employed fitters with availability between contracts, or semi-retired professionals.

Pay: £18.25-£34.00 per hour
