We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Cook pizzas to perfection using traditional or specialised cooking methods, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as required, supporting the overall kitchen operations.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demands during busy periods.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe working environment for all staff members.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and uphold the restaurant’s reputation.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making, including dough handling, sauce preparation, and baking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
- Prior restaurant experience involving meal preparation or serving is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates.
