NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance or an equivalent qualification (or significant relevant experience).

Ideally hold City and Guilds 236 Certificate in electrical installation theory, Certificate in performing engineering operations (NVQ).

The ideal candidate will have a mechatronics background, including experience with vehicle and/or vessel electrical systems. Knowledge of NMEA 2000 is useful.
