Join us on a mission to do business differently.
Glow Homes is a growing home energy company designing and delivering intelligent energy systems for homeowners, bringing together solar, battery storage, EV charging and smart energy technology around the individual home and the people who live there.
But how we do business matters just as much to us as what we do.
Customer experience is at the heart of Glow Homes, and we're building a business that puts people, quality and community first.
We're now looking for a Business Operations Coordinator to become a central part of the team and work closely with our Founder & CEO across the day-to-day operations of the business.
This isn't a traditional admin role.
You'll be involved across the entire customer and operational journey – from the first enquiry and initial system design through to quotations, procurement, installation and ongoing customer care.
You'll also have the opportunity to learn the technical side of home energy and develop your role as the company grows.
What you'll be doing
No two days will necessarily look the same, but your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of Glow Homes and helping keep customers and projects moving smoothly.
- Managing customer enquiries across email and telephone and providing a warm, professional first point of contact.
- Supporting customers throughout their journey with Glow Homes and making sure communication is proactive, clear and well organised.
- Coordinating appointments, surveys, installations and other project activities.
- Liaising with our installation teams, suppliers, manufacturers and other partners.
- Supporting procurement, equipment ordering, deliveries and installation logistics.
- Preparing and coordinating quotations, proposals and customer documentation.
- Maintaining accurate customer, project and operational information within our systems.
- Learning about solar panels, battery storage, inverters, EV charging and smart home energy technology.
- Receiving training to support the technical design and specification of customer systems.
- Helping ensure projects progress efficiently from initial enquiry through design, installation and aftercare.
- Identifying opportunities to improve our processes and customer experience as we grow.
- Getting involved wherever needed as part of a growing and ambitious business.
Who we're looking for
We're deliberately open-minded about your background.
You may already have experience in operations, project coordination, customer service, logistics, property, construction, renewable energy or another relevant environment.
Equally, you might be earlier in your career and looking for an opportunity where you can learn quickly, take on genuine responsibility and build something with us.
For us, attitude and aptitude matter just as much as experience.
You'll probably thrive here if you:
- Are highly organised and naturally good at keeping on top of multiple things at once.
- Communicate confidently and warmly with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- Are comfortable using technology and enjoy learning new systems.
- Are curious and genuinely interested in understanding how things work.
- Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Enjoy solving problems and finding better ways of doing things.
- Are comfortable working in an environment where priorities can sometimes change quickly.
- Care about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Want a role you can grow into rather than simply another job.
Experience within solar or renewable energy would certainly be useful, but it isn't essential. We'll provide training for the right person.
What you'll learn
One of the things that makes this role different is the breadth of exposure you'll receive.
You'll work closely with our Founder & CEO and the wider Glow team and develop an understanding of how the whole business operates.
You'll learn about:
- Solar PV and home battery storage
- EV charging
- Smart home energy management
- System design and specification
- Customer proposals and quotations
- Procurement and supply chain
- Project and installation coordination
- Customer experience and aftercare
- The commercial and operational side of a growing business
We don't expect you to know all of this on day one.
We do expect you to want to learn it.
Why join Glow Homes?
We're building Glow Homes for the long term, and we're looking for someone who wants to become an important part of that journey.
As the company grows, we want this role to grow with it.
You'll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, develop new skills and help shape the systems and processes behind the business rather than simply inheriting somebody else's way of doing things.
You'll also be joining a company that genuinely believes business can have a positive impact on the communities it serves.

- Technical training in home energy systems
- Genuine opportunity for career progression as the business grows
- Direct involvement across multiple areas of the company
Above all else
We're looking for the right person.
Someone positive, capable, curious and ambitious who cares about doing a great job and treating people properly.
You don't need to arrive knowing everything.
If you've got the attitude, aptitude and desire to learn, we'll help you develop the rest.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
