We are a Lexcel Accredited Solicitors Practice and Estate Agency based in Wolverhampton City Centre.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our busy Private Client Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all of the legal aspects of Will and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) preparation, ensuring that all processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

The role will involve working with other departments and so the successful candidate will need to be able to work as a team. We provide a friendly supportive working environment.

Salary is subject to experience.

Duties

Manage the full process for the preparation of Wills and LPAs from initial instruction to completion.
Liaise with clients to provide updates and resolve any queries.
Prepare and review Wills and LPAs.
Maintain accurate records of all attendances and correspondence in accordance with company policies.
Provide expert advice to clients regarding the preparation of their Wills and LPAs.
Ensure timely completion of all tasks while managing multiple cases simultaneously through effective time management.
Attending upon clients at their homes and hospital visits where required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within the Private Client sector is preferable.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information to clients and colleagues.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to Private Client, including case management software.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills to maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with legal standards.
A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is required
