Role : Refrigeration Engineer

Location : Bristol & Newport

· Salary : £43,680pa (40hrs)

· 40 hour working week

· 1 in 6 call out at £175 ( £1190 per week )

· Door to door

· 33 days holiday ( you can buy 5 more )

The Role

We employ a team of over 120 service engineers nationwide, operating on a regional basis. Our engineers support a diverse client base including Restaurants, Hotels, Convenience Stores, Schools, and Care homes.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our team, working across commercial sites throughout the West Midlands. This is a field-based, customer-facing role requiring strong technical expertise and a professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, reactive maintenance, and breakdown repair of refrigeration equipment
Working on a range of systems including: Packs ,Cold rooms ,Bottle coolers ,Under-counter fridges and freezers ,Display cabinets ,Blast chillers
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
Conducting routine maintenance checks and identifying potential issues
Providing expert advice and technical guidance to clients
Maintaining strong customer relationships in a field-based, client-facing role
Completing service reports and required documentation accurately
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience working within commercial refrigeration
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience in a field-based role

Qualifications:

F-Gas Certification (essential)
Relevant NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Full UK Driving Licence
