Full job description

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will work closely with managers across the business to provide professional HR advice and support, helping to drive business performance through effective people management.

This is a hands-on role that combines strategic HR partnering with operational HR responsibilities. You will build strong relationships with managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, organisational development, and employment legislation while supporting the delivery of key HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with managers across the business to provide commercially focused HR advice and support.
Build trusted relationships with department managers to understand business objectives and provide effective people solutions.
Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and performance management.
Support managers in handling complex employee relations cases while ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Work closely with managers to identify learning and development needs and support employee career development.
Support performance review processes and contribute to succession planning and talent management initiatives.
Analyse HR data and provide recommendations to improve employee engagement, retention, and organisational effectiveness.
Promote employee wellbeing and help deliver initiatives that enhance employee engagement and company culture.
Support organisational change projects, restructures, and business transformation initiatives where required.
Keep up to date with changes in UK employment legislation and HR best practice.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, or in a similar HR generalist role.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Experience managing complex employee relations cases from start to finish.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Commercially minded with the ability to balance business needs with employee experience.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR information systems (HRIS).
CIPD Level 5 qualification is essential; CIPD Level 7 is desirable.
Experience working within an international or fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageous.
