Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fire Stopping Project Manager to lead and oversee fire protection installation projects at a Commercial Building in Chester. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with fire safety standards and building codes. Your expertise will drive project success from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to life-saving infrastructure while advancing your leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Develop comprehensive project plans using Primavera P6 to schedule and track all phases of fire stopping installations
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to align project objectives and timelines
Oversee the execution of fire stopping work, ensuring adherence to safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
Manage procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
Conduct site inspections using Civil 3D for precise layout verification and ensure compliance with design specifications
Monitor project progress regularly, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Lead team meetings, communicate updates effectively, and resolve any issues that arise during project execution
Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, change orders, inspections, and compliance reports
Managing variations and project documents.

Skills

Minimum 5 Years Experience managing passive fire protection or fire stopping projects.
Strong Knowledge of - Fire Stopping Systems (Penetration Seals, Linear Gap Seals ,Cavity Barriers, Fire Doors and Fire Walls and Sealings.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment
Knowledge of fire protection systems, building codes, and safety regulations related to fire stopping
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate teams and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to troubleshoot issues proactively and implement effective solutions
Experience with Major Manufacturers Quelfire, British Gypsum.
