PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £66,100 £80,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role leads Product Group's approach to delivery operations, with ownership of our Jira platform and the operational standards that underpin how our teams plan and deliver.
You'll design, develop and manage our Jira ecosystem, ensuring visibility, strategic alignment and trusted delivery insight are built into the way Product Group works. Through effective tooling, automation and reporting, you'll make it easier for teams to deliver, while giving leaders the information they need to make confident decisions.

As the Product Group's Jira expert, you'll own a business-critical platform used by hundreds of colleagues, shaping how teams plan, collaborate and deliver. Working across Engineering, Product and senior leadership, you'll influence how delivery information is captured, understood and used to drive better outcomes.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
Own and evolve Product Group's Jira platform and operating model.
Design workflows, automations and configurations that improve delivery.
Develop reporting, dashboards and delivery insight for teams and leaders.
Ensure Jira supports strategic planning, portfolio visibility and consistent ways of working.
Drive improvements through automation, tooling and process simplification.
Act as the technical authority for Jira, providing expert guidance and best practice.
Partner with Product, Engineering and Data teams to deliver scalable operational solutions.
Define portfolio delivery measurement frameworks and ensure operational data supports meaningful insight into progress, risk and value.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Significant hands-on experience administering Jira Cloud in a complex environment.
Deep understanding of Jira configuration, workflows, automation and reporting.
Strong technical skills, with experience integrating and optimising operational tooling.
Ability to turn complex data into meaningful insight and compelling narratives for senior leaders.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across Product, Engineering and leadership teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex operational challenges into practical solutions.
DESIRABLE
Experience with Atlassian Analytics, Confluence or Jira Service Management.
Experience using APIs, scripting or automation to improve operational efficiency.
Knowledge of Agile, Product or software engineering delivery.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale Jira environments.
