The Role:

LMUK Space are seeking an experienced Training Designer to develop and deliver impactful training solutions. This is an opportunity to shape the skills & knowledge of our workforce - we are looking for an enthusiastic team member who can bring fresh ideas to training design and delivery.

The individual selected for this role will be responsible for:

Design & deliver engaging training material to Defence Standards
Conduct reviews of training documentation in accordance with company and Defence quality standards
Conduct structured interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to capture training requirements
Support operational training delivery outputs and wider training team goals.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

Training Design experience in Engineering, Defence, Armed Forces or a similar environment
Strong communication and presentation skills — confident in front of a room
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance priorities
A proactive, flexible and motivated approach
Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Experience in training design and delivery in accordance with JSP 822

Desired skills:

Space experience
Hands-on engineering background
Training Needs Analysis experience
Knowledge of Defence instructional standards
