Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic new colleague to join our friendly and experienced team, supporting us with our practice administration. This is a part time role, for 25.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We very much welcome applicants with previous experience of working in a GP practice.

We're a great team and you'd be joining us to help ensure excellent care and service for our patients. The role involves all the many and varied aspects of our practice administration, supporting and being part of our practice family.

Job Summary

Supporting the practice to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support by ensuring we work in the most efficient and effective way, including helping us to work to all guidelines and follow correct processes.

It would be ideal if you currently work in a GP practice or have recent experience working in a primary care service. We can offer full training should that not be the case and you feel that you have excellent IT skills and will learn the ropes quickly.

You would be an integral part of our friendly and efficient team, helping to make sure the practice runs smoothly.

Training on our IT systems and processes would be given.

This role is subject to a clear DBS check, which we would fund.

Key responsibilities

a. Work within our team as a positive part of our practice, helping us to offer the best levels of patient care that we can;

b. Supporting both team members and patients alike with any administrative processes;

c. Help ensure that we follow processes that align with required guidance;

d. Input data into patients’ healthcare records as necessary;

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour
