Join the family! Our setting based on Fordmore Farm, Cullompton, are looking for a welcoming Early Years Practitioner to join the team over 2 days per week (Tuesday & Thursday)...

Nanny Bears recruit team members based on values and attitudes, supporting our family to be made up of passionate, positive and like-minded individuals who understand the importance of creating a nurturing environment for our children. We encourage a new way of working where team members feel valued and respected. All practitioners are professional and understand the importance of attention to detail but our environments are relaxed and sociable, where staff encouraged to work as family and form strong bonds with each other through conversations and social events.

Job Summary:

The role consists of 16-18 hours across 2 days (Tuesday & Thursday). The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction and supported to flourish in an environment which promotes each staff member to be the best version of themselves.

You will have the following experience, skills and attributes -

Have a full and relevant level 2 qualification (minimum) in Childcare.
Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to support staff in using the framework.
Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice.
Ideally previous experience in a similar role
Be a good team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit family
Have the ability to use initiative and to create inspiring and creative activities
Be positive, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children
