Security Officer – Full-Time & Part-Time

Professional Guarding Facilities Management Ltd (PGFM) is seeking reliable, professional and vigilant Security Officers to join our growing security team. We have Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available, with positions suitable for both Male and Female candidates.

Job Description

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and professional environment for staff, visitors, clients and property. You must remain alert and vigilant throughout your duty, follow site procedures and respond professionally to any incidents or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the security and safety of the site, staff, visitors and property.
Conduct regular patrols and security checks.
Monitor CCTV and identify and report suspicious or unusual activity.
Control and monitor access to the premises.
Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents and emergencies.
Ensure all site rules, security procedures and client requirements are followed.
Prevent and report theft, damage, loss and unauthorised access.
Deal with challenging situations and conflicts calmly and professionally.
Assist during emergencies and provide first aid where appropriately trained.
Maintain accurate daily occurrence records, incident reports and security logs.
Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, management and Control.
Carry out any other reasonable security duties required by the site or management.

Essential Requirements

Valid SIA Licence – Essential
Valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK – Essential
Previous security experience is preferred but not essential.
Reliable, punctual, responsible and trustworthy.
Must be alert and vigilant while on duty.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Good teamwork and situational awareness.
Ability to follow instructions, site procedures and company policies.
First Aid/CPR qualification is desirable.
