Central Surgery, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex

We are a warm, friendly, and supportive practice committed to providing excellent patient-centred healthcare to our local community. We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our team on a fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a caring and collaborative environment where high-quality patient care is at the heart of everything we do.

Central Surgery
1st Floor, North Road Primary Care Centre
183–195 North Road
Westcliff-on-Sea
Essex SS0 7AF

Thorpe Surgery (branch site)

38 Acacia Drive

Thorpe Bay

Essex

SS1 3JX

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract End Date: 1 April 2027 with potential for extension subject to continued funding.

Pay: 2 sessions a week £21,879 per annum with national insurance and pension on top.
Benefits: NHS Pension Scheme, 7 weeks per rota annual leave for part time employees.

Working Hours

Every Wednesday at Thorpe Surgery

9:00am – 12:00pm: Patient consultations
12:00am – 12:30pm: Administrative duties

Every Thursday at Central Surgery

9:00am – 12:00pm: Patient consultations
12:00am – 12:30pm: Administrative duties

Total contracted hours: 7 hours per week

About You

The successful applicant will:

Be a fully qualified and GMC-registered doctor
Hold the appropriate qualifications and right to work in the UK
Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and sound clinical judgement
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Be organised, reliable, and compassionate
